VOLUNTEER WITH WAW
WAW relies upon a diverse batallion of volunteer members whose time and wide variety of skills are crucial to the continuation of WAW's mission. Volunteers contribute in many ways both locally and from afar by helping with event planning/coordination, fundraising, writing and editing projects, PR and advocacy, administrative tasks, and teaching ESL classes in Queens.
See below for job descriptions of some of our current needs. Also find our projects listed at New York Cares search term Women for Afghan Women.
